Meet Colette Freeman

Colette is a trained spiritual director, holding a Certificate in Spiritual Formation and Spiritual Direction, gained in 2021.

Since 1995 Colette is an experiential educator teaching personal fortitude, teamwork, conflict resolution, leadership and followership.

From 1995 to 2012, she facilitated youth groups, non-profit entities, businesses, and families in environments designed to get them out of their comfort zone to learn how to thrive as individuals and groups when life is hard.  During those wilderness adventure years she used white water canoeing, rock climbing/rappelling, and martial arts as classrooms. Through these pursuits she learned how to teach people to harness their adrenaline dumps so they can function well in stressful situations.

Colette honed her facilitation skills as the main educator home schooling the Freemans’ four children.

Colette enjoys assisting David with trainings and mediations.  She brings an additional calm and unwavering presence to the room.

In addition to helping David, Colette is an Administrative Assistant at a nearby church and at the church she attends she teaches, helps lead worship, and is tasked to help mentor adults.
